About Jennifer Matthaei Cottrell:
As a high school sophomore, I began what would turn out to be a life-long relationship with Yoga. It started as a PE class, which was quite unusual in 1975, and continued on and off through the next 30 years. In 2008, I decided to deepen my spiritual journey by taking a 200 hour certification program during which I fell in love with the practice. I began teaching, studying meditation facilitation, and Ayurvedic wellness counseling, and achieved a 250 hour certification in each discipline. Because of my love for yoga, I continued to pursue certifications for Radiant Child Yoga, and Trauma Informed Yoga. As my spiritual practice continued to deepen, I decided to go for a 500 hour certification…and now, after over a 1000 hours of training, I am a Yoga Therapist, which allows me to use all of these modalities to assist people live their best life.
