Have you ever counted the cost of following Jesus? While many of us carefully calculate expenses for houses, cars, education, or retirement, we often fail to consider what true discipleship requires.
Jesus was clear about this cost in the gospels. In Mark 8, He said: "If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me." Later, He told a rich young ruler to "sell all you have, give to the poor... then come follow me." Following Jesus demands everything.
