A disciple reads the Bible as a mandate. 5. A cultural Christian sees Jesus as an “add on” to their already good life. A disciple sees Jesus as the only true way of life. 6. A cultural Christian feels “at home” in this world. A disciple is a sojourner that is in pursuit of a Kingdom to come. 7. A cultural Christian acknowledges Jesus. A disciple obeys Jesus. 8. A cultural Christian is a fan of Jesus. A disciple is a follower of Jesus.
