Matthew and David delve into the ongoing Kosovo-Serbia dispute on the newest episode of the Now World. They interviewed Leiden University lecturer Shpend Kursani who has worked for the Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development. More generally, his research focus has been on relations between Kosovo and Serbia; the Western Balkans regional affairs; as well as on EU, Foreign and Security Affairs.
In this episode, Kosovo-Serbia relations are questioned and relativized, while still underlining the particularity of the situation. The concept of sovereignty is discussed, showing its counteracting nature with different international actors involved.
