From being a frustrated competitive swimmer and fresh from graduating from college to a busy work schedule and coaching gig, Raissa ran her first marathon in Clark to declutter and find herself.This is where she discovered the art of practicing mindfulness while running which made her enjoy her first run and eventually nail some of her best run while enjoying the activity.In this episode, she shared how being present during your runs and becoming more connected to your body can be beneficial in many ways. It is something that sounds easy but not necessarily easy to do during these days with so many distractions.Not keeping her learnings and personal experience to herself, Raissa has started personal coaching and assisting athletes of any level of ability.
