When Your Dreams Crash We all have dreams—visions of what our lives could be, hopes for the future, and plans we believe are aligned with God's purpose. But what happens when those dreams crash? When the job opportunity falls through, the relationship ends, or the door we were sure God would open remains shut? In those moments, it's easy to feel abandoned, confused, and even bitter. But Scripture reminds us that God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). What seems like a failure to us may actually be a redirection toward something greater. Joseph had dreams of greatness, yet he found himself betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, and imprisoned. Everything seemed to be falling apart. But God was working behind the scenes, positioning Joseph for a purpose far greater than he imagined (Genesis 50:20). When our dreams crash, it's not the end—it's an invitation to trust God in deeper ways. It's a call to surrender our plans and embrace His. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. If your dreams have shattered, know that God is still writing your story. He is the God of restoration, new beginnings, and unexpected blessings. Hold onto faith, even when you don't understand. Your broken dreams may just be the stepping stones to something far greater than you ever imagined. Prayer: Lord, help me trust You when my plans fall apart.
