When God's Answer is "Not Yet" Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of the journey. When we pray and heaven feels quiet, it's tempting to think God has forgotten us. But "not yet" doesn't mean "no." It simply means God is still working behind the scenes—in ways we can't see, timing we can't control, and love we can always trust. God's delays are often part of His divine design. He may be preparing the right opportunity, strengthening our faith, or protecting us from something we can't yet understand. Like a parent holding back a gift until the perfect moment, He is waiting for our good and His glory. Isaiah 60:22 reminds us, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." Trust that His "not yet" is filled with purpose. Even in the silence, He is still near—gently holding your heart, collecting your tears, and shaping your story. Today, rest in the waiting. Don't rush ahead. God's timing is never late, and His love is never distant. Hold on, because "not yet" often leads to a better "yes" than we ever imagined.
