Listen "Grief That Comes in Waves"
Episode Synopsis
Grief That Comes in Waves Grief doesn't follow a straight path. It crashes in like waves—some gentle, some overwhelming. One moment, you feel okay, and the next, you're overcome with sorrow that seems to come out of nowhere. That's the nature of deep loss. Even Jesus wept when He stood at the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:35). He understood the sting of death and the ache of absence. Your pain matters to Him. He's not distant or indifferent—He's near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). When the waves roll in, let them come. Don't fight them. Instead, invite Jesus into them. He's the anchor when everything feels like it's drifting. And He promises a day when "He will wipe every tear from their eyes" (Revelation 21:4). Grief is not weakness. It's love's echo. And healing isn't forgetting—it's learning how to carry the memories while still moving forward. So when the next wave comes, take a deep breath. Whisper His name. He's right there, holding you steady, whispering hope in the storm. You're not alone. Prayer: Jesus, when grief overwhelms me, be my comfort. Hold me when I can't hold myself. Remind me I am not alone in the waves. Amen.
