Why Does the tower of Pisa lean?
This white marble bell tower of Chatedral in Italy called Tower of Pisa, ...Leaning Tower of Pisa ....or Bell Tower of Pisa - is perhaps the most famous bell tower in the world.
Work started on it in 1173 and was not completed until 1372.
It was designed to stand 185 feet or 56 meter high, but after the first three stories were finished, the soft ground below it began to sink. That caused the tower to lean.
