Maggie Oates and Courtney Long…they are the band directors at Davenport West High School. The band there has been invited to perform on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., for the 100th birthday celebration of the memorial. They were the ONLY band selected in the state of Iowa and have a lot of fundraising to do, so the kids don’t have to pay their own way on the trip.Shari Hoegerle of Impact Life, formerly Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center.
