Episode Synopsis

Dr Denley graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1998 and has been working in small animal practice in south east Queensland for the last 20 years. Whilst he thoroughly enjoyed conventional veterinary practice, he decided to undertake a Certificate of Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute to improve his skills and education. He is also certified as a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Herbologist recognized by the China Society of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. Following these studies, he completed a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine and is a member of the Animal Biomechanical Professionals of Australia Australia, the American Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and the American Canine Sports Medicine Association. Steve completed a CIVT course in veterinary rehabilitation last year and is currently undertaking a CRI course in the same field due to be completed within the next twelve months. Steve now owns and works at Balanced Veterinary Care in Tamborine, Queensland, and combines conventional medicine, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, animal biomechanical medicine and rehabilitation to apply a holistic, natural approach to improve his patients’ wellbeing.
