Mah holds a PhD in Modern American History and has served as a senior advisor in Governor Pat Quinn’s administration, as chair and vice-chair on the healthcare licenses committee, co-chair of the progressive caucus, co-chair of the Illinois Asian-American legislative caucus, and a member of the house executive committee. She is a passionate advocate in the areas of civil rights, immigrant rights, workers’ rights, consumer protection, healthcare access, and workforce and education development. Today, Rep.
