Listen "No, You're Wrong"
Episode Synopsis
Is it ever okay to tell a person they're wrong? Well, that depends on your opinion, or does it?
Is the truth important enough to sacrifice our own reputation in the process of preaching it and defending it? Is that what Paul meant when he said "if I was trying to please man by my preaching, I would no longer be serving God"? What did Jesus think about debating people? What rules did he operate by? Are they the rules we give ourselves, or do we try to be nicer than Jesus?
As brothers and friends, we have a great difference of opinion when it comes to public discourse, which of course makes for GREAT public discourse.
So why not just play record in the middle of our heated disagreement and disagree, so we can discover the truth?
That seems like the right way this time. Disagreement is okay. The world should welcome it.
