Today we stand on the brink of hot war between the major powers, a situation made explicit in recent weeks by Russian President Putin and others, but ignored and distorted in the West. To advance a positive peace—a shared future among brotherly civilizations—let us advance the global understanding of Ibn Sina, a hero in the history of Afghanistan and one of the greatest medical scientists to ever have lived.
