Listen "Ep 36: Let’s talk about older sitcoms"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I talked about sitcoms from the 70s, 80s and 90s and some in the early 2000s and how the humor that are used in the shows can lead to internalize self hate because with predominantly white shows, the only time a BIPOC person is shown in the show, they are only casted to represent a negative stereotype and or if a show is mainly a heterosexual main cast, the only time queer characters are casted is to be make mockery of their identity and then I also talked on many other identities on the line of humor and identity.
