Savitri meets her second soul-force, the Mother of Might, her being of power. She stands upon earth’s paths of danger and grief to help the unfortunate and save the doomed. She is fortune and fate. Reckless of sin and virtue and earthly consequence, she serves the will of God, who sent her forth. Then Savitri hears the voice of the warped echo on earth, the Dwarf-Titan; the deformed, chained god, who strives to master his nature’s rebel stuff and make the universe his instrument. He is the Ego of this great world of desire, who claims earth and the wide heavens for the use of man.
