Savitri has met her mate, Satyavan at the edge of a sunlit forest clearing. In their secret conscious selves they know the truth of their eternal union, but this awareness has not yet dawned in their surface consciousness. They begin to speak, and there has been so much love between them in so many past lives that Satyavan begins by asking Savitri to come home with him and tells her that it is a place of chanting nuptual waters, the waters of marriage.
