Send us a textIn Episode 105, I converse with Grandmaster Timur Garayev, who earned a World Record in 2016 for playing the biggest blindfold simultaneous exhibition of all time, competing against 48 players at once without sight. He hails from Uzbekistan and and has been living in the US since he got a BA in Business Marketing from the University of Texas at Brownsville. In 2018, he won the 119th US Open. We spoke about his recent experience hiking the Appalachian Trail, our annual Make a Difference Teaching in Africa trip, skydiving, the art of blindfold chess, improvement tips and more.
