Listen "SELF IMPRISONMENT"
Episode Synopsis
Hello everyone, welcome back to POSITIVE MINDS with Stephen Akindayomi.
In today’s episode, I will be talking about self-Imprisonment.
I will be discussing how our upbringing can deeply impact our mindset and how we somehow imprison ourselves.
So, the question is: how do we imprison ourselves? How do we Become Our Own Jailer?
Don’t chase another human being. Instead, chase your curiosity. Chase your development and your goals. Chase your passion. Strive to work for something bigger than yourself, and instead of trying to convince someone that you fit within their world- strive to build your own.
Often times, when dealing with life issues, we can sometimes fall into irregular periods of feeling down. This statement goes tenfold for anyone struggling with mental health. No matter how much you want to move forward and out of this wave-pool of negative emotions, it may feel like you’re stuck in a riptide. You want to be productive, but you can’t turn off these negative thoughts because you feel down and in the end you can’t be productive.
This cycle is fairly common, and After giving it some thought, I believe there are several ways we humans trap ourselves, or should I say imprison ourselves.
Life is like a game; all you have to do is to know how to play it. I will like to encourage you to take action before it’s too late.
