Sidney is finishing up her degree in biomedical engineering with a focus in electrical and minor in applied math. Eager to work abroad, she conducted her own research while interning at Mensia Technologies in Paris, France. She is now the founder and CEO of De Oro Devices and created a device capable of alleviating and preventing the freezing of gait episodes experienced by patients with Parkinson’s.
