And this revelation triggered all sorts of reactions. The prophet Isaiah in the 1st reading prophesies the unbelievable scenes when the glory of the Lord is reveal on his Holy city Jerusalem-The nations come to your lightand kings to your dawning brightness.all are assembling and coming towards youDaughter being tenderly carried,people grow radianteveryone in Sheba will come,bringing gold and incenseand singing the praise of the LordIn his 2nd letter to those in Corinth St Paul reminds them what God's revelation means that pagans now share the same inheritance, that they are parts of the same body, and that the same promise has been made to them, in Jesus Christ, through the gospel. In the Gospel God's revelation to the Magi – foreigners and pagans –triggered enquiry, adoration, respect, gift-giving.
