Naming your show can be difficult. Here are a few routes to consider. You can be direct and name your show after exactly what it is. If you have a show about health food, you may call it The Health Food Podcast. It’s boring, but very clear what the topic is, and it’s good for search. On the other hand, you can try to get creative with your name. But keep in mind that if your name is too creative, people may not think of it, find it when they are searching, or it’s possible they won’t know what your topic is. Then there is a go-to we don’t recommend, and that’s naming it after yourself. If you start The James Smith Show and then talk about health food or rock climbing, people are going to ask, who the hell is James Smith? Aim for a clear title that’s short, sweet, and easy to remember.
