When you first begin to air episodes, you have a lot going on. You’re scripting content, recording, trying to book guests, and promoting episodes as they release. As you share new episodes be sure to include a direct call to action. Ask your social media followers and listeners to leave a review on Apple Podcasts or hit the notification bell in Spotify to learn about new episodes. Don’t assume people will take these actions without being prompted to do so. In general, you will need to ask, ask, and ask again to get your listeners to leave reviews and subscribe. Be consistent and be sure to show appreciation as you watch your reviews and subscriber numbers rise.
