Bio:
Anne’s finance journey began at an investment bank. It was a small operation, but learned a lot, helping with different aspects of the business. She soon realized it wasn’t where she wanted to be, which transitioned her into banking. She began at Wells Fargo Bank as a business banker, was promoted to cash management, and then left for the opportunity for a management promotion.
She worked her way up to regional manager for Countrywide Bank, built a successful sales team, built out the region, and decided to go back into sales. She worked at regional banks and national and international banks, so it’s given her a good knowledge of lending criteria because not all banks are the same. Working at one of these banks, she realized she needed to make a change. She was partnered with a manager who wasn’t ethical, and despite informing management about the unethical behavior, her request to change offices was denied.
She left the bank to become a business loan broker. She obtained her license, and that began a whole new career. She knew a lot about business finance, but she realized how much more was possible when she became a broker.
