Listen "Tending the Flame- Hope and Encouragement in EphesiansSession 2"
Episode Synopsis
How is the flame of faith in your life these days? Can you imagine a love for you greater than your understanding? However, you are feeling, the letter to the Ephesians was written to offer hope and encouragement and reassurance in being a community of believers, grounded in the good news of Jesus amidst challenging times. Pastor Carolyn Hetrick and Pastor Scott Schul of Grace Lutheran Church, State College, PA lead the second week of this Bible study on the Book of Ephesians and today focuses upon Chapter 3 verses 14-21. Parallels with the story of the Prodigal Son, and the infinite nature of God who chooses to dwell in our hearts and fill us and the world with boundless love and imagining the world beyond what we see sharing in this love fill part of our time. Today's closing music is "Now We Pray to eh Holy Spirit" by Dietrich Buxtehude played by Grace organist, Cynthia Mills.
