Thorsten Vollmer the former half of the Leipzig (Germany) based live improvist & producer duo "Zone Ohne Obligationen", celebrates his comeback after 3 Years silence under Alias HIMBERT!
His gear, which will from now on mainly stay in his studio, is powered by his self-built off- grid solarsystem on his self-sufficient construction site in France near to Nancy. This explains why it was so long quiet about the current family man. Anyway, now it's getting loud again!
His sound cannot be described with genres. Always shuttling between many subgenres of underground Techno and House, he is on the lookout for the right vibe. Concise percussions, repititive elements, groovy basslines and dubby soundaesthetics are the common denominator. The mix makes it, surprises are welcome!
