Listen "15: Daily Desert pt 4 - The WHY Behind the Desert with Steven Andrus"
Episode Synopsis
We are living under the false assumption that our busyness is somehow helping us achieve more, be more productive, and get ahead. In reality, it's burying us under a load that is not sustainable for us to carry. The thought of slowing can make some of us panic - wondering if we have "margin" for extra things in our lives to help us bring some sense of sanity to our days. Steven Andrus, MS, LCPC (and my husband) joins me again in this podcast to wrap up the 4 part series on the "Daily Desert". He shares some case studies of individuals he has helped implement principles to help develop a daily discipline of silence and solitude. He also shares his own journey and some resources he's used to assist in this "Daily Desert" journey. Some of these resources and links are listed below.
