Listen "PN_13 changing lives behind bars with Laurie Lazar"
Episode Synopsis
Wanting her heart involved in her work, guest Laurie Lazar volunteered in the Colorado Prison System and now runs the Realness Project to bring the practice of Authentic Relating to inmates across the state. I ask about her journey to show up for this work (which included the unraveling of her flirtatious tendencies), the stories of human transformation and how this work averted bloodshed along the way. In partnership with ART International, she's launched a workbook called "Finding Ease in Isolation" and has a fundraiser designed to distribute this to the incarcerated population across North America and beyond. I love that she is asking the question "where are you at home in your body?".
