In the first episode of the season, we're introduced to Crimson, a woman who makes her living dying fabric her special shade of red. She lives in a cottage beside the woods, and is much more comfortable in that setting than in the local village.After her friend Sawyer warns her to take the road to visit the Widow Hazel because of increased danger in the woods, Crimson must decide if she's going to listen to his advice and take the long way around, or trust in something her grandfather told her several years ago and take the shortcut through the woods.Which do you want Crimson to do?
