Last Friday, July 26, 2024 marked the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. During the ceremony there was a particular scene at a  tableau, drag queens and dancers lined a long table in an image that sparked controversy, some initially believed resembled Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” portrait of Jesus Christ and his 12 apostles. The controversy surrounding the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony is about much more than mocking a Sacred moment in the life of Christ-the Savior of the World and Light of the World. It  puts on display the spiritual condition of a nation-France. It does it  in the context of a worldwide event. France reflects a worldwide condition of spiritual blindness.. The Scripture Holy Spirit led me to explore is          1 Corinthians 1:18 (AMP) For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.  This group who collaborated and approved the ceremony had no regard nor considered Jesus as the  Word of God, the Light of the World, nor was He God incarnate in their minds. They focused only on a famous painting to create the setting,” an Olympics spokesperson admitted". They chose their side.Whose side are you on?And He that sat upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new".
