When a military or country is on high alert, it means there is an increased threat of attack or a dangerous incident, requiring heightened security measures and a greater state of readiness. Likewise when the people of God find themselves under similar conditions, surrounded by adversaries, constantly being threatened, attacked and even murdered by their enemies, they must be in a state of readiness. According to Voice of the Martyr Canada, more than 7,000 Nigerian Christians had been killed within the first 220 days of 2025 – an average of 32 deaths per day. A video of a courageous, faith-filled, Nigerian Pastor, Ezekiel Dachomo's  touched the world, when he said,  "I don't know if I'll be next. But for me, I've already told my family....they kidnap me nobody should contribute. My grave will speak for me. My blood will raise war that will lead to Christian Liberation...And I know Jesus has approved that for me.." Hebrews 12:24 (BSB) to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.And He that sat upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new".
