Listen "PAVLOV'S EXPERIMENTS "
Episode Synopsis
In conclusion, Pavlov's Dogs Study and Pavlovian Conditioning is a form of classical conditioning where an individual learns to associate an unconditioned stimulus (US) that already brings about a particular response (UCR) with a new (conditioned) stimulus, so that the new stimulus brings about the same response. By pairing the conditioned stimulus (CS) with the unconditioned stimulus (US) multiple times, Pavlov was able to demonstrate that the conditioned response (CR) would eventually be elicited by the conditioned stimulus (CS). This form of learning has been demonstrated in many studies to have a profound effect on behavior, from fear responses to memory formation.
