It is interesting to note that while Paul was determined to go back to Jerusalem, the Lord had told him to leave Jerusalem and that the Lord was sending him to the Gentiles soon after his conversion. Even though many pleaded with Paul not to go to Jerusalem as he neared the end of his third missionary journey, he went nevertheless. Was Paul in the will of God at this time in going to Jerusalem?
