Episode Synopsis
This little tune serves as the opening for the YouTube presentations of my Super Mario Maker music level series, Melody Roads.
The song was composed on the Roland Fantom X6 and features the Super Star instrument from the game. It is a jazzy remix of the first seven notes of the Super Mario Bros. ending theme, which are represented by the arrangement of music blocks in the opening cover art. The 1-Up ditty serves as flourish toward the end.
In all Melody Roads courses, you are given two paths directly at the start. You can run on the upper path for some high-speed platforming action, or you can simply ride the skull coaster (or conveyor belt) for easy listening.
