In Episode 2 of this series on 1 Peter, Caleb Conley and I attempt to make our way through the Epistolary Introduction (vv 1-2) and the Prooemium (vv 3-12),  however, only make it to v5. While we found ourselves repeating some of the content of the opening part of the letter, vv 1-2 specifically, we felt it absolutely necessary to spend adequate time on this section.
