Listen "Episode 131: Dr. Swapan Sahoo"
Episode Synopsis
Dr. Swapan Sahoo is from India, a master’s degree geologist who then moved to America to pursue a Ph.D. in geology, but found himself and a friend stranded in America after Hurricane Katrina… With a backpack and a set of clothes, he made it 4 years down the road to UNLV where he would become a doctor in Geology! He has recently published a paper on nature and is establishing a foundation for paleogeography and taking data from old rocks in order to best make sense of them today. He works for Equinor as a geologist now, a company striving for a sustainable future! He is an inspirational, wise, and humble man.
