Listen "Daily Devotions: Why Does God Allow False Prophets? - March 29, 2025 "
Episode Synopsis
Today's Scripture: Deuteronomy 13:1-3
As children, we love to ask "Why?"—it's how we learn. Even as adults, we often ask God "Why?" especially when things don’t make sense. One common question is: Why does God allow false prophets?
Deuteronomy 13:1-3 explains that God allows them as a test to see if we truly love Him with all our heart and soul. Even when false prophets perform signs and wonders, their true intention is to lead people astray. They test our loyalty—do we follow God for who He is or just for miracles? They encourage rebellion, as warned in Deuteronomy 13:5, leading people away from God's commands.
The real question is not "Are their words true?" but "Where are they leading me?"
