Ecclesiastes 7:21-22, 10:2 – “Do not pay attention to every word people say… do not make light of the king even in your thoughts, and do not curse the rich in your bedroom, for a little bird may carry your words away.”

In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor Sumrall reminds us of two important lessons for life in a world of social media. First, don’t go looking for gossip or the opinions of others—doing so can hurt your heart and stir up anger. Second, be mindful of what you write or post. Words shared in private are never truly private, and those in leadership or influence over your life can be affected by what they see.
