Episode Synopsis

Director and primary choreographer, Dalia Rawson founded New Ballet in 2016 and created Fast Forward in 2017, because as she describes, “I wanted to provide the opportunity for choreographers and dancers to experiment, explore, and push the boundaries of classical ballet.”
Rawson continues, “During a time when so many artistic ventures have been curtailed by the pandemic, the opportunity to create and perform new work allows artists to continue to grow. Your support of this program through ticket purchases helps keep the art of ballet moving forward.”
At New Ballet School, founded in 2016, they recognize the importance of each student's total well-being. Their approach prioritizes the dancer, not their dance. New Ballet's Principal Dr. Elizabeth Hutter has gained national recognition and was recently elected President of the American Psychological Association in Performance Psychology. To our knowledge this is the only ballet school led by a dancer who is also a clinical psychologist. Students who train at New Ballet benefit from her support and counsel no matter what their career paths. No need to pay additional thousands for college prep or career counseling.
