Last night, we took forgiveness a step further and Pastor Chad spoke about how to let that stuff go truly. Using the story of Joseph, his brothers, and his firstborn son Manasseh, we learned how to let that stuff go! Just as Joseph's brothers had caused pain and suffering, many of us have experienced seasons of hurt too. Now, we don't have to go around naming all of our firstborns Manasseh (I forgot; I let that go in Hebrew), but we can learn from Joseph's ability to trust God's plan and let go of the hope of having a better past. If he hadn't, our savior might not have been born. Imagine what God has in store for you when you let it go and put your trust in His divine plan for you.
