Sahil talks about the architecture of metaverse system, moving away from cloud and self-hosting the infrastructure, creating a virtual file system and solving latency problems for global metaverse. He also talks about importance of IAC (infrastructure as code) to do sustainable infra, importance of incremental solutions (and avoiding big bang solutions), and insights into build vs buy decisions in startups.
Sahil graduated from NIT Trichy, and did his finance masters from IIM Calcutta. He worked at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merryl Lynch, before discovering his love for hacking and building systems. He has been building GMetri since 2016.
