A Psalm of David.12 Help, Lord, for the godly person has come to an end, For the faithful have disappeared from the sons of mankind.-          God, a  Helper against the Treacherouso   Notice the title begins with a description of God as a Helper (capital H)o   And not just a Helper the normal trials and tribulations of life but “against the Treacherous means §  Likely to betray trust§  Unreliable§  Providing insecure footing or support§  Marked by hidden dangers, hazards or perilso   So God is a Helper against such people -          Help, Lord, for the godly person has come to and endo   David starts with a very startling remarko   It is a urgent cry for Help§  And then he says that all the godly people have come to and end§  This means, they’re done, they’re finished; there isn’t anymore§  Sometimes it seems you can longer find any godly people-          For the faithful have disappeared from the sons of mankindo   To disappear refers to something or someone who was there but they have disappeared and are no longer visible (vanished; completely gone)o   Maybe you too have noticed how scarce it is to find a godly personIntro to Outbless Weekly Thanks for listening to Outbless.com
