VISTA Table Talk is a virtual series hosted by Up2Us Sports where we provide an opportunity for our VISTA members to come together to discuss the work they’re doing and the impact their organizations are making. The goal of VISTA is to provide organizations with capacity building AmeriCorps members to support organizations' mission to alleviate poverty. This week, in alignment with National Youth Violence Prevention Week, we've brought together Up2Us Sports VISTAs from different organizations to reflect on topics such as how access to sports helps with violence prevention, the impact of violence on programming, and how their organizations are breaking down barriers to help youth feel safe in their communities.
