One cloud was all I asked for
one cloud and nothing more
I asked for it and it was there
quite white and a little fair
light but shapely and rare
And then as if it too
had its own wish
separated into two
clouds against the blue
it grew surrounded but see through
by butterflies of different hues
And then looking for so long
I noticed it was gone
My cloud my wish my view.
