After graduation, he completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at Pacific University College of Optometry. He is currently a Professor at Pacific University College of Optometry where he is involved with specialty contact lens fitting, contact lens instruction, and clinical research. He is also currently an associate in private practice in Silverton, Oregon.
