Hosted by acclaimed sportscaster Johnny Kane, the show will air Wednesdays from 8-9 p.m. ET on WJR. Each episode will also be available as a videocast on SportsCaster.com. “SportsCaster’s Open Mic” provides a platform for the next generation of sports broadcasters, offering new perspectives on the latest headlines and behind-the-scenes insights into the world of sports. The program will feature a rotating lineup of aspiring student sportscasters, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talents on one of the most prominent stations in Michigan.
