A heartfelt and intense discussion with Shawn Dollar, the retired professional big wave paddle surfer with multiple career accomplishments, including 2 World Records for surfing a 55’ wave at Mavericks and then a 61’ wave at Cortez Bank, CA.   In the height of his big wave career he broke his neck and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while surfing.  He was diagnosed with early CTE and significant brain damage with a SPECT Image form the Amen Clinics.  Through a network of doctors, Shawn has undergone Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Neural-Prolotherapy, Stem Cells, Hormone therapy and many other functional brain healing modalities to have a full recovery.
