You may have heard of the '13th sign' of the Zodiac known as Ophiuchus. It entered the Astrological picture with controversy and ultimately by mistake. That mistake being the confusion between 'constellations' and 'signs'. Nevertheless, Ophiuchus, or Asclepius, has an intriguing position amongst the stars, situated as it is on the cusp of Scorpio (the death realm) and Sagittarius (new life). His myth represents this perfectly as he is born from a dying mother and is forever positioned on the edge of life and death.
