Maxey currently serves as a Licensed Psychologist for the Forensic Responsibility Program at St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center. She has 30 years of experience working in a variety of mental health and social service positions within multiple settings. As a woman with several marginalized identities, she is highly vested in providing holistic and culturally competent treatment to all individuals who seek mental health services, especially in underserved populations.
