On May 3, 2022, a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion announced the court's intent to overturn Roe v. Wade and 50 years of precedent providing for the legality of abortions. In the weeks following the leak, I spoke to Indiana representative Chris Campbell on how the legislature would respond to a repeal on Roe v. Wade and how this decision could impact Hoosiers - spoiler: disproportionately. I also attended a small student-led protest downtown to speak directly to community members.
